Bio
Based in Brighton, Flavours is a four-piece psychedelic/alt-rock group built around the songwriting and dual-vocal partnership of Sam Turner and Ben Archibald (completed by Jude Allenby and Martin Slade Jnr) Formed through a mutual love of colourful, groove-driven alt-rock and the iconic psychedelic recordings of the ’60s and ’70s, the band blends “classic psych influences” with “modern production sensibilities.”

Flavours' first single, 'Coloured Image', released in May 2024, gaining recognition from Line of Best Fit, who described their sound as a 'psychedelic stick of Brighton Rock,' as well as slots at festivals Latitude and Wilderness.
The second DIY single, 'Still Heavy', was released in February 2025, bringing a dreamy and intense introduction to the releases Flavours have planned for the rest of the year.
Followed closely by their third single 'Ground Up' flavours once again gained recognition from Line of Best fit, calling it "a dreamy, reverb-soaked exploration with intoxicating grooves"
What's Next?
Following the local success of their first three singles, recording for their debut EP has begun and will be released end of Spring 2026 after lead singles are out in Winter through Spring 2026.
Keen to take their new music around the country, the band has begun organising their own self-promoted tour around the UK as part of their debut EP release.

Achievements
The band formed with an intention to nurture a connection to the Brighton grassroots scene, as all the members work closely with/ in the venues and all live for live music.
Flavours have sold out multiple self promoted shows at some of the city's favourite venues, as well as playing slots in bigger rooms such as Concorde 2 and Patterns. The band sold out their biggest headline show to date following the release of Still Heavy at Brighton's Green Door Store.
In the summer of 2024, the band played at Wilderness, Latitude and Summer By the River festivals across the UK, as well as 234 Fest in Brighton, and are heading out on their self-promoted UK tour in 2026
